Some guest posted details on Pulmannen's ban and the admins used their power to the remove the Forum. So much for "Free" FICS Forum. |

I think the owner deleted the board since Ed Trice emptied Trash Talk.

Guest is right - the admin had asked Ed Trice not to delete Trash Talk prior to handing the forum over to him. As he broke his promise, the forum is no more.

All the above is irrelevant. Ed Trice did not support Peltier therefor the forum couldn't continue. |

I think someone deleted the forum! I contacted support, they said whoever was "user # 1", the person to create the forum, is the one who deleted it.

GBate, you have misinterpreted "godyouaredumb"`s remarks, which were supposed to be an irony of BackwardPawn's statement, which in turn was a misinterpretation by "godyouaredumb" (Gorgonian) as BackwardPawn was referring to the Free FICS Forum admins.

No I haven't perhaps he changed his mind. I wonder why he would start a FICS forum. I'm not sure he even plays at FICS. |

I guess you are right, he admitted it himself that he does not play at FICS. How about you then? Why don't you re-start the Free FICS Forum? It's a pity that FICS doesn't have a forum. |

Ed was not suited for the job because he was not supporting Peltier. As soon as the original founder found out about this he had no other option than shutting down the forum. I fully agree! |

I was thinking, how about a forum without admins, just users and guests? I am sure this poses some problems, but I'd like to hear whether you think it's a thought in the right direction or not. |
